8th Grade: Pop Art paper mache large scale sculptures

8th grade has been diligently working on their pop art sculptures! The students worked in table groups and came up with images/objects from popular culture to recreate on a grand scale.  Each sculpture had to also include a mechanical part of sorts. This group created a bottle of Purell and the pump piece actually goes up and down like an actual pump mechanism. Many students chose to go with toys from their early childhood such as the claw machine, xbox one, jack-in-the-box and so on!
