GMS 2015-2016 Art Show!

This year's art show was held during our testing week this year! The LRC was closed down which gave me time for set up, as well as time for the work to remain up for students to walk through if they could not attend on opening night.  There was a selfie station set-up which allowed visitors to get goofy, as well as get us on to social media with #GMSartshow. What is going on in the art room????

We are wrapping up our 3rd quarter of the year; I can't believe it! Here are some photos of two of the 6th grade projects! Other grades to follow.

6th grade students working on color theory

The beginning of the color wheels with hues of the primary, secondary, tertiary colors plus the tint, tone and shade of each.

A final with the complimentary colors added plus the color wheel itself being transformed into another object at the discretion of the student artist.
